Poor Kasia

Kasia decided to break her foot on Wednesday. She was playing over at a friend's house and got her foot slammed in the door. We didn't think that it was broken at first because she played at the playground for a little bit after she did it, but when it was time to go home she couldn't walk. We brought her home and it immediately started to swell. I wanted to take her to the ER but Derric thought that it was not broken. I told her if she could take a step I wouldn't take her that night. She painfully took a step on the side of the foot, so I held up my end of the bargin. I took her into see the doctor first thing the next morning and she had broken the top of her foot. I am glad that all of Derric's med school in paying off. It is pretty bad when I can diagnose better than my soon to be doctor husband. Hopefully she will only have to have the cast on for 4 weeks. At least her cast is her favorite color PINK.
