The Princesses

When we were home this summer my aunt made this beautiful costume for Kambree. She wants to wear it everyday and we are lucky if we get it off her before bed. But her most prized possession is her glass slippers. She even puts them right next to her bed every night so she can wear them first thing in the morning. I told her that she could not wear them outside until Halloween, so everyday she asks me if it is Halloween yet. The day before Halloween we had a little costume party with her friends and tragedy hit. Somehow her glass slipper broke in half. She has sooo sad. I felt so bad for her. She had been waiting so long to wear them outside. I tried to find new ones but the shopping is very limited here. Luckily one of Kasia's friends had a pair that she let us borrow. Cinderella had found a new glass slipper.

I was surprised when Kasia asked for a princess party this year. She has never really liked princess until a little while ago. I remember once when we got her pictures taken they asked her to sit on the princess chair and she sternly told them that she was NOT a princess. She got the Sleeping Beauty costume that she is wearing for her birthday. I think she makes a beautiful princess, even if she doesn't think she is one. Kasia's favorite part about trick or treating was definitely the Candy. I can't believe how much candythat girl came away with.
