All right, enough of the road trip. After some constructive (or destructive) critisism from my wife, I have decided to scrap the last day and a half of the road trip. It was just more of the same and there were not any pictures of us. It was a fun trip, and memories were made, just not the kind for sharing I guess.
So we took a different road trip, this time shorter. We went to Montreal Canada! Viva le Canaduea (Montreal is a French speaking city)
There we are in front of the city. It was windy and cold, but that didn't diminish the beauty.
Here is a picture of the city from the same spot King George viewed it many years ago (most the buildings weren't there though.)
Here is the Notre Dame Cathedral of Montreal. This is the chapel where Celine Dion got hitched. (Celine is french for "greatest singer of all time")
This is the view from the cheap seats(though it cost us $6 canadian to get in.)
Then we took a detour to Chinatown, where they spoke English- go figure.
All in all it was a great trip. We started on Friday the 13th (apparently the French don't celebrate?) but they must've known it was my birthday because they rolled out the red carpet at the Mariott. We just kept tipping and they kept saying "mercy", I guess they are very poor, so we gave them more.
